How does HeartAtlas work?

HeartAtlas is an international social network designed for conversations, communities, activities and authentic connections. Its philosophy is: “Talk with the world. Meet naturally.”

Create one personal account, confirm your email, complete your profile and choose preferences. Multiple, fake or automated accounts are prohibited. Registration does not require a subscription.

Provide accurate information and only photos you may publish. Control profile and reputation visibility from your account. Unregistered visitors cannot see real member profiles.

Members can chat privately and use available translation tools. Audio/video calls follow communication settings and safety rules. Never send money to someone you met on the platform.

Live Quiz, Connexions and Ice Breakers are grouped under “Group Activities”. Participation requires Premium. In Ice Breakers there is no right answer or score: the creator chooses a category, everyone answers an open prompt separately, then responses are revealed together to start a natural conversation. Anyone may pass a prompt without explanation.

In a Connections room, participants remain anonymous during the game and are represented only by a gender tile: photo, name and age stay hidden. Everyone must tap “Ready”. When at least half of those present, with a minimum of two people, are ready, a two-minute countdown starts. When it ends, anyone still not ready automatically leaves the room with an explanation about inactivity. In each round everyone secretly and simultaneously chooses the answer that fits them best; choices are then revealed together and HeartAtlas calculates affinities. At the end, profiles are revealed to all room participants and each person can send a Like, a Crush or block a member.

Sessions are scheduled by administrators with a date and time. Registrations follow configured quotas and minimums. Confirmed sessions never start before the announced time. Compatible encounters last up to 10 minutes by default, may be ended early and session chat may be translated. After the session, participants may give private feedback, send a Like, add a favourite or send a Crush under HeartAtlas rules.

Your personal history keeps sessions you joined and people actually met where permitted. Administration keeps a global history for operations, safety and moderation. Private interest feedback is not exposed in public history.

Community includes public forums, private forums, events, announcements and testimonials. Public spaces follow community visibility rules; private spaces are limited to authorised members. Follow local rules and report abuse.

A member can rate another only after a genuine two-way message exchange. Administrators and super-administrators cannot be rated. Raters stay publicly anonymous. Members choose whether their average and rating count appear publicly; administrators may review and delete abusive ratings without arbitrarily changing the rater’s score.

Conversations, forums, community, essential connection features and safety tools remain available without a required subscription under service rules. Premium unlocks Speed Dating and Group Activities. Trials, benefits and Premium duration are shown in your account.

Your referral code and link are available in Account → My referrals. A referral qualifies when the profile is complete and the member has been present on at least 7 distinct days. Every 10 qualified referrals grants the sponsor 30 Premium days. Fake, duplicate and self-referral accounts are excluded.

On first visit you can accept, refuse non-essential trackers or customise choices. Preferences can be changed in Privacy Centre → Cookies.

Privacy Centre explains visibility, consent, export and deletion. Data linked to Speed Dating, activities and reputation is handled according to purpose, safety rules and applicable retention periods.

You can block a member from Discover, their profile or a conversation. Once blocked, neither of you can find or contact the other. Conversations are hidden while the block remains active. Blocking stops interactions; reporting alerts moderation. A limited excerpt of recent messages may be preserved with a report so authorised people can assess context.

When HeartAtlas is placed in pre-production mode by administration, registration, sign-in, profile completion, profile viewing and Discover search remain available. Other features are temporarily locked until the configured opening date. Administration and authorised moderators keep the access needed for testing, safety and moderation.
